Gladstone worked with Open Solutions International to create and develop a new identity and brand strategy placing them at the top of their game in EPoS (cashless payment solutions) software. For over 15 years they have been instrumental in helping councils, sports clubs, social clubs, schools and other establishments adopt and integrate cashless payment systems with ‘best of breed’ software from other developers.
Working closely with the team we helped to identify and define the company’s core brand values, namely being a friendly and open software partner delivering bespoke cutting edge software packages. We crafted a clear visual identity combining the companies initials ‘o’ and ‘s’ into a personalised brand emblem. We continued to develop a cohesive, straight-talking yet friendly messaging platform rolled out across all communications.
Combining the company’s brand values with their key software features of forward-looking, responsive software was key to creating a friendly but professional personality and re-humanising the brand. We developed a clear and distinct illustration style which we adapted across printed brochures, advertising, show stand and presentation slides, case study templates and stationery.

Golf Clubs are one of the biggest sources of business for Open Solutions, counting some 250 clubs as clients. For a key industry event we designed their ‘golf specific’ stand environment. Communications included an animated presentation show-casing the unique and impressive benefits Open Solutions software brings to golf clubs.
To take the new brand forward and ensure subsequent implementation remains consistent, we created an easy-to-follow set of guidelines for dealing with all aspects of brand usage.
We continue to work closely with Open Solutions and are currently redesigning and redeveloping a vast responsive website due to go live in Spring 2018.
